As a millennial that witnessed first-hand the financial hardships caused by the Great Recession, Nico is dedicated to helping clients build economic resiliency and achieve financial success.
Providing advice that is always in the best interest of clients is the fiduciary responsibility that Nico is most proud of. His broad experience in holistic financial planning enables him to work with entrepreneurs, business owners, families, and individuals from all backgrounds. With deep knowledge of investment themes such as technology, real estate, energy, finance, transportation, and communications, Nico takes pride in upholding responsible investing principles for clients. In 2021, he earned the Chartered SRI Counselor™ designation, furthering his expertise in client focused portfolio management. Prior to joining GK, Nico worked as a Financial Planning Specialist, building customized wealth management plans for clients. Before that, he worked for the venerable non-profit organizations Ecology Action and the Sustainable Economic Enterprises of Los Angeles.
Nico graduated from UCLA where he was a member of the Model United Nations Travel Team, the Bruin Bridge Team (yes, the card game) and was the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs Undergraduate Commencement Speaker. He is a proud supporter of the Santa Monica Education Foundation, the UCLA Athletic Department and Grades of Green.
