BIO
Sage's curiosity and motivation for investing began at a young age by studying personal finance books and learning how to invest. With personal finance at the pinnacle of many families and relationships, he realized that many have not properly saved and planned for retirement, kids' college, or other personal life goals.
Following his passion for finance, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Psychology at California Polytechnic State University where he graduated Cum Laude. Sage co-managed the university's endowment fund and collaborated with a team of analysts for the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Investment Research Challenge. As an accomplished athlete and arduous worker, he competed on the NCAA Division I golf team at Cal Poly and represented the student-athlete body in the San Luis Obispo community.
Sage began his professional career by providing asset management and tax planning services to high-net-worth individuals and small business owners. His early experiences working with high-net-worth families, made him realize the value and importance of teaching financial literacy to clients early on in their wealth-building phases of life. Part of his attraction to Gerber Kawasaki is its unique programs tailored for all different financial backgrounds to help young professionals like himself, reach their financial goals. Since joining Gerber Kawasaki, Sage’s fast growing client base mainly consists of small business owners and professionals in technology, as well as the sports industry. Utilizing his experiences & education in financial analysis, he has become a valuable resource within Gerber Kawasaki's investment committee.
Sage believes developing strong relationships with his clients is the best way to create a financial plan, customized to fit their needs. He understands the inherent financial distress in personal relationships and the challenges of living paycheck to paycheck. His true passion is to help others live a better quality of life through long-term investing and instilling confidence in them for their personal finances. Combined with his knowledge of financial markets and his ability to understand others' needs, Sage's mission is to help others achieve their ever-changing goals and be a resource for any important financial decision.
When not tending to his clients, Sage enjoys spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, barbecuing, playing sports, and watching Lakers games.
