Yuta Arai is the Senior Tax Manager at Gerber Kawasaki, where he is primarily responsible for solving various tax issues for clients, including individual taxpayers, partnerships, S-corporations, and C-corporations. Yuta has over 10 years of experience in both public accounting and the corporate industry. Most of his experience comes from working at KPMG in Silicon Valley, Calgary (Canada), and Los Angeles. His expertise spans various industries, including technology, oil & gas, energy services, entertainment, pharmaceuticals, and high-net-worth individuals with businesses. Yuta has also helped multi-national companies develop modeling tools for tax provision, tax compliance, and identifying planning opportunities. Yuta received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Washington and is awaiting reciprocity with the California Board of Accountancy (CBA). In his free time, he enjoys running and competing in marathons.
