Dan Mezzera is an Investment Advisor Representative with Gerber Kawasaki. He grew up in the Bay Area before moving to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University, where he studied Business and Psychology. After graduating with two bachelor's degrees, Dan continued his studies and earned an MBA.
Growing up, Dan's father introduced him to investing and stressed the importance of financial planning as a tool to help secure one's future. At 17-years-old, he called his dad's stockbroker to buy his first stocks, and he has been investing ever since.
After college, Dan took his business education and passion for finance and became a financial analyst at a boutique consulting firm. He managed the finances of multi-billion-dollar space programs for the United States Air Force. Dan quickly built a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable consultants in the industry. Even though he experienced great success, he felt like something was missing. He wanted to help people on a more personal basis instead of only servicing large government institutions.
After a 14-year career, he decided to combine his desire to help people with his passion for financial planning and became an investment advisor at Gerber Kawasaki. As a client of Gerber Kawasaki for almost ten years, Dan has firsthand knowledge of the benefits of working with a GK advisor. He attributes much of his financial success to his relationship with GK and strives to create the same beneficial experience for his clients.
When Dan isn't supporting his clients, he loves hiking through the Sierra Mountains, cooking elaborate meals, and spending quality time with his wonderful wife and spirited daughter.
