Mia Samson is an Investment Advisor Representative and the Manager of the Marketing and Social Media Department at Gerber Kawasaki. In 2020, she obtained the CDAA (Certified Digital Assets Advisor) designation to have an elite understanding of the ever-developing world of cryptocurrencies. At Gerber Kawasaki, she works to ensure that our brand and messaging are in line with our investment decisions. She collaborates with all members of the firm to execute marketing goals and business development.
Using social media, Mia has grown recognition as an advisor. She uses these channels to educate the younger generations on essential financial knowledge that typically is not taught in schools. She has been featured in conferences for Financial Planning by TheWrap and regularly records podcasts and shows with her co-worker Ziad Hijazi.
Mia hopes to be someone that other women can look to and feel empowered to join the finance industry or take control of their finance. She was born and raised in California and grew up with strong leadership in her home as both her mother and father are in the San Francisco Fire Department. Through watching her mother’s courage and tenacity as one of few women in the field, Mia learned to take on challenges from a young age. Her goal is to guide more women through the world of financial planning and assist as many as possible with unique challenges that most women and their family face.
Mia is a graduate from Loyola Marymount University in the heart of Silicon Beach holding her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and concentration in Applied Mathematics. In her free time, Mia volunteers as the Instagram Coordinator for Sierra Club Angeles, the most enduring and influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States with over 3.8 million members, gives time to the San Francisco Fire Department Toy Program where she and her family have been recognized for the most volunteer hours, and enjoys exercising with her German Shepherd, Harley.
