Nicholas Anduze grew in Los Angeles County with European and Southern influences. That upbringing fostered an awareness of the economic challenges families face at the local and global levels. After completing his BA from UCLA, Nico studied winemaking at the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France. Upon returning to California, Nico worked on farms, built school and community gardens and represented the LAUSD Nutrition Education Obesity Prevention campaign at over 100 public schools in Los Angeles. Those experiences and becoming a father led Nico to understand the importance of financial wellness for people from all backgrounds.
Nico has served as a Board member for the Pasadena Community Garden, the UCLA Westside Alumni Network and the Los Angeles Food Policy Council. As a University of California certified Master Gardener, Nico has taught dozens of Victory Garden courses to the public, teaching people how to grow their own fruits and vegetables. Helping individuals from food to finance, Nico is determined to improve the quality of life and financial well-being for people. When not supporting the efforts of the Gerber Kawasaki team, Nico enjoys spending time with family, traveling to new destinations, supporting his local sports teams and growing fruits, vegetables and flowers at the Santa Monica Community Garden.
